Jack Blakeman

Service Desk Engineer

Jack joined Wessex IT at the start of February 2024 as a Service Desk Engineer, after our merger with BlakeLAN Communications Ltd took place. Jack started at BlakeLAN at the age of 17, working for his father's company — Mike Blakeman — where he has been ever since (not just because the office has a bar).

IT has always been a part of Jack’s life in some way, even if it was waking up at an ungodly hour to take his father to the train station or to a client. Occasionally, however, it came with great perks, such as travelling to Singapore whilst Mike supported a client at the Singapore Airshow.

When Jack isn’t busy working, he’s instead busy running a weekly comedy night in Brighton — Cool-Aid Comedy — with 2 friends. You can also sometimes find him performing, going to watch Arsenal, or like most people here... playing PC games.
