Recently OpenAI launched GPT-5, described by CEO Sam Altman as its “best model yet”.
So it’s a little worrying to then read that it only (!) ‘hallucinates’ (makes stuff up) 4.7% of the time!
AI undoubtedly brings enormous benefits to business and we wrote about some of these in our post, 10 ways in which AI can give your business an edge (Part 1).
But as our next article, The Risks of Using AI for Small Companies (Part 2), showed, there are risks, such as:
- Compromised customer trust
- Missed opportunities and inefficiency
- Ethical missteps
- Vulnerability to change
To get the most from AI, while mitigating the risks, we recommend that you develop an AI policy.
To assist you, we have created the Wessex IT AI Policy Template. The template gives you a base of generally agreed best practice, which you can then amend to meet the needs of your organisation.
